Bat Removal

There are several types of bat removal.

1. Hand Removal from the inside of a home when flying around or hiding.
2. During a bat exclusion we have to get the bats out of the gable vent or attic. If they can be seen and have not breached the gable vent to the inside of the attic then we shoo them out of the gable without direct contact (not harming them at all) or if they have breached or we cannot access them then we use what is referred to as a one-way bat valve. This allows the bats to leave and denies them entry back inside.

Bat Removal has it's risks so we would not recommend a homeowner do this themselves. Please understand that bats are vector species which means they can carry and transmit rabies. Direct contact is a whole separate conversation, not necessary here.

PLEASE NOTE: Bats are PROTECTED - absolutely no bats should ever be harmed in the removal process. Spraying them with bug spray should NEVER EVER be a consideration. Yes, we hear that all of the time. Frankly, if that is your 1st inclination... we are not the company that you should call. Sorry!
